The certification represents a significant milestone, as it has previously been restricted to live bootcamp students over the past four years.

The certification features a distinctive evaluation approach: "One week practical assessment. NO multiple choice. Report-based deliverables. Every submission reviewed personally by the instructors who built it."

## Credential Definition

"A holder of the CDCP has demonstrated the knowledge, skill, and practical application to work within a security operations team at a SOC Analyst Tier 1 to 2 level."

## Program Background

The organization will distribute free exam attempts during launch week. Those purchasing the CDA On-Demand course before November 22nd will receive exam attempts upon the certification's release.
